● GYTC8Y Figure 8 Multi-Tube Aerial Self-Support Outdoor Cable:

GYTC8Y is a typical outdoor use fiber optic cable for aerial applications. GYTC8Y is also called the figure 8 cable because of its structure looks like the figure 8. We supply single mode and multi mode GYTC8Y fiber cables from 2-fiber type to 288-fiber type. The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in loose tubes made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. This part of cable accompanied with the stranded wires as the supporting part are completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath to be figure 8 structure.
