● Copper SFP Transceiver:

Copper SFP module is also called the fiber port convert copper port module. It is a module that supports hot plugging and is in the form of SFP. And, the connector type is RJ45. In addition, since the transmission distance of copper module is 10-30m or 80-100m, copper SFP module is mainly used with CAT5, CAT6, CAT6A or CAT7 types of network cables for short-distance data transmission.

Copper SFP module have four types: 100Base SFP, 1000 Base SFP, 10/100/1000 SFP and 10G SFP+:

100Base copper SFP module can be used when the device network port is insufficient.

1000Base copper SFP module can be used for gigabit Ethernet, this speed rate is fixed so few customer will choose this.

10/100/1000BASE copper port SFP module can be used for high-speed Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, unlike other copper modules. This copper port module is more innovative in terms of speed and can meet different application needs.

10G copper SFP+ module is designed for high-speed communication links. It is mainly used in 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and 10G SFP+ copper SFP module is the first 10G optical module to be transmitted over a network cable. It can be used in the SFP+ port of a switch or network card to connect to a network device with an RJ45 interface.
